Civic Celebrations Start Next Weeked Here in Rosario de Naranjo!

Fiestas Civicas - Rosario de Naranjo

Friday, March 25th marks the start of the Civic Celebrations here in Rosario de Naranjo. The celebrations are a great way to have an authentic encounter with the Costa Rican culture. This is not an event put on for tourists, this is a real event steeped in history that the locals produce each year to celebrate their community. Here at Vista del Valle, we are excited to participate with our neighbors in this great line-up of events over the course of two weekends.

Featured events include soccer games, dances, live music, delicious food, bingo, candies, crafts, cultural activities, art exhibits, carnivals, concerts, horse shows, “Corrida de Toros” a humane form of bull fighting where if anything, the humans better keep their distance and a fireworks finale.

We're putting all the information together for you, a schedule of events will be posted soon. If you live more than a hop, skip and jump away, consider booking a room with us and becoming a temporary member of the community for the weekend. Reservations can be made at frontdesk@vistadelvalle.com.

The Connection

The Connection
written by Michael Bresnan

The connection, plug in, it’s full on!
From the ends-in and the center-out | Bottom-up, top-down | Mutually beneficial, awareness of our essence | Our oneness of being, our consciousness | A state of being together for all of us | Our connectedness.

OK neighbors, time to change!
Wherever, whenever let’s join | Our common interests to form synergistic relationships that create win-win | Our properties by agreement to form ecological right-of-ways | Create parks | Watershed parks designed to give our grand-children’s grandchildren good, clear, abundant water | Community gardens, natural recreation areas | Reforest and create habitats for the birds and animals of the area.

Wherever possible let’s connect!
Our properties/farms | A system of trails for our enjoyment | As we watch nature return | Create new venues for sustainable community tourism | Create tourist attractions that benefit the whole community and it’s environment | New stake holders who are committed to the principles of what works gets shared freely.

Neighbors as friends, a new concept in the world of today!
Friendship redefined as enlightened self-interest as I give you what I want… | Respect, honesty, transparency, a good deal that works for both of us | Cooperation and collaboration instead of win-lose, I look for win-win | I seek sustainable ways to do things that I share with my friends.

Information that we can all use, that benefits all of us!
New possibilities of synergistic transcendence as we learn to include each other and what each brings to the whole | Conscious of our needs and our provision in having all we need to overcome any limitation and linear thinking | This is our time and this is our place to become what we want to see in the world as individuals finding our future in each other and all now where we are.

A Quote by Dr. David R. Hawkins, M.D., Ph.D.

“The public has become like a focus group that is manipulated by media merchants. Thus, the public is like a ship at sea with no compass, much less a GPS system.” --- David Hawkins

We are the compass and GPS but we’ve lost our way and are now lead by systems that are bankrupt, and people who have lost their moral, ethical underpinnings. So, like sheeple we are being lead ‘soylent green’ by people who care only to control us and profit from us.

We can’t change the macro picture if we can’t change the micro/local picture. We can wait for someone else to, … or we can decide to be and make the difference now where we are.
